This last Sunday & Monday I spent in Fort Worth, TX visiting my friend Jessica and her family. They are moving to Indianapolis tomorrow, and we met for awhile at her stepmother’s house. One of the bedrooms has a lot of fabric, thread organized on the wall, and a sewing machine. I became enamored with the thread spools hanging on a peg board and took several photos.

This is our new Yorkshire terrier puppy, Dexter. He’s almost 3 months old and weighs less than 3 pounds. We love him so much. And of course we think he’s adorable
I took this outside in the evening with my 50mm lens. I wasn’t really expecting to get anything because he wriggles a lot and tries to run toward me when I get close. I am pleasantly surprised I caught this tiny moment.
Black and white seemed too harsh, so I went with the sepia instead.
